After a visit to a Safran open day shifted her plans away from traditional classroom-bound routes, Ruby discovered a passion for the sheer variety within the aerospace industry.
Her apprenticeship has allowed her to rotate through diverse departments - from technical electrical design and manufacturing engineering to hands-on assembly in the Harness Bay, alongside international work exposure in France and competing in the WorldSkills Mechatronics competition.
